Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Compliance
The Change Agent is currently undergoing a comprehensive digital accessibility audit to ensure our website and resources meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA (opens new tab) standards.
What This Means for You
We are working hard to ensure that our articles, lesson packets, and multimedia tools are fully perceivable and operable for users who rely on assistive technologies. Our improvements will include:
- Improved PDF Accessibility: Transitioning our resource library to “Tagged” and screen-reader-friendly formats.
- Keyboard Navigation: Ensuring all site features can be used without a mouse.
- Enhanced Readability: Optimizing color contrast and font structures for adult learners and those with visual impairments.
- Alternative Text: Adding descriptive data to images and icons across the site.
Timeline
We are committed to having all core site functionality compliant by April 26, 2026. Our goal is to provide a barrier-free learning environment where every student, regardless of ability, can engage with the issues that matter most.
We Value Your Feedback
