A new Call for Articles is published in February of every year. Find the 2026 Call below. Please sign up for our newsletter to keep up with news and events at The Change Agent.

  • Deadline for submissions will be May 2027
  • Every submission must have a title, author, and contact information listed on the same page as the article. We cannot review articles that do not have proper contact information.
  • Submit your article in Word, Google docs, or pasted into an email. Do not submit as a PDF.

All submissions are reviewed by our Editorial Board with final decisions made by The Change Agent Editor. Submissions must be received by the deadline to be considered for publication. Students whose pieces are accepted will receive a $50 gift card. The suggested length for articles is 200-800 words. Please be sure to include the name of the writer (you may publish anonymously if you wish), instructor and program, and preferred method of contact. Submissions must be sent to cynthia.peters@jsi.org.
